In this video, I show you how to take an old deck that has been neglected and restore it to like-new condition.  The overhaul includes a 3 Step process using chemicals from a company named Restore-A-Deck.  I paid for all materials at full price and did not receive compensation to produce this video.

After researching several options, I found Restore-A-Deck to be the best all around product for my purposes.  It is safe for the environment and even allows for all steps to be completed within a single day.  The same concepts may be applied even if you aren't using the Restore-A-Deck products.  Read your manufacturer's instructions carefully as application recommendations may vary slightly.  Please like, subscribe and leave any questions in the comment section.

Raise your hand if you have a teeny tiny bathroom that needs a major makeover!

The lack of square footage + no windows + builder grade blah fixtures can make a small bathroom one of the more challenging spaces to design because there’s not a whole lot in it. But that’s exactly WHY you should rise up to the challenge and let this itty bitty bathroom become the showpiece of the entire home! This video is all about my designer tips to make the most of what you’ve got and to show you that bold design elements can make a huge impact in the tiniest rooms. Measure your space, understand the clearances needed to make it functional, then get creative!

Makita was one of the first brands to give us a hammer drill with more than 1000 in-lbs of torque and the XPH07 and XFD07 has been a workhorse for them. The XPH14 promises even more power and in today’s video we’re going to test them both head-to-head! Makita’s two flagship hammer drills may seem similar on the surface, but it’s the internals that matter. Using our test track consisting of drywall screws, 10 holes with a ½ inch twist bit, 10 holes with a spade bit, another 10 with an auger bit, and finally boring 2 different sized holes with holesaws. Once we present our test results, we’ll also go over a few other comparison tests we ran, to see once and for all who’s on top! Makita XPH07 or Makita XPH14?
